I am conscious about having a minimal impact on the environment, no matter what I do. So it only makes sense that I carried on this consciousness to House of Lonali. While we use fabric waste as the primary raw material in all our products, we also make an effort to refrain from creating waste in our manufacturing process. We are serious about reusing, repurposing and remanufacturing every resource that comes our way so that nothing gets thrown out.

We also recognize the importance of educating the public on concepts such as zero waste, and showing them how to make positive changes in their homes. As a result, we have embarked on a number of projects that teach people how to repurpose items they may be inclined to throw out. Our DIY projects and tips on upcycling are communicated to the public through our social media platforms, and they have been received positively.

The ultimate goal is to get people involved in circular design – a principle we are passionate about. We want to show them the value in repurposing and upcycling resources with a simple shift in mindset and using a fresh perspective on the world around us.
